Event Details

Maynard Jackson became the first black Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia in 1973; this film is a brilliant, insightful and thoughtful look at how Mayor Jackson was able to take power and share power with the Black people in Atlanta. In the process, he established an important blueprint on how to exercise and increase Black power in the various cities throughout the United States. A very important documentary that should be seen by everyone who’s interested in increasing our power.
