Tyrone Spears

Tyrone Spears is a Director at Large and has been a member of LAABP for 3 years. Most recently he volunteered on the scholarship committee. Tyrone works for the Personnel Department as a Workers’ Compensation Administrator. He is involved with LAABP and view his role as one that will seek to identify and eliminate barriers that exist in the outreach, recruitment, promotional opportunities,  and employment of Black/African American employees, and to build an inclusive workplace where employees can actively utilize their talents and contribute to the success of City Government. Tyrone enjoys traveling, teaching, track and field, and everything water.
