Janeshia Robinson

Janeshia L. Robinson is the First Vice President, and has been a Board Member Since 2003.  She chairs the Scholarship Committee, and is a Member of the Special Events Committee.  Janeshia works for the Personnel Department as a Sr. Personnel Analyst I, and has been a City of LA employee for over 15 years.  She’s involved in LAABP for Mentorship and Succession planning, and our motto Together we can accomplish what none of us can do alone means to her that you should “Never be satisfied with being an exception to rules that marginalize your history, effort, sacrifice and determination. It is not enough to gain acceptance to the table to be considered as an anomaly rather than reason to re-examine the rules.”  Her personal interests and hobbies are knowing more and doing better, creating a positive health legacy – spiritual, physical & mental, financial fitness, travel, soca music, carnival, cooking, children and literacy.
